^{A - If you are talking about fabrics, you need to take as many samples as you can to work with when you are shopping.  If you are talking about paint, you may have a lighting situation that is not the same as the stores that you are visiting.  Designers generally use strike offs or samples of the paint from the paint supplier.  If you cannot get a sample of a  paint color, go to a paint store where you can.  Many times, you can get professional advice if you can formulate your question.}
